So, you like Left 4 Dead, but after a while it’s stopped scaring you a bit. You’d rather have something a little more humorous for your sounds and skins. Well, noble readers, never fear, SirMax is here with some of the more ridiculous modifications for your zombie aggressors.

Tank

Coming out a strong lead is the combination sound pack and skin for a Johnny Bravo tank, sound pack made by EvilDaed, the man behind Manta engie.

The Johnny Bravo soundpack has only been circulating through the tubes for a few days, and already someone has made a Johnny Bravo tank skin for it. For the record, this is the first time I’ve seen someone make a mod for one of my mods.

If you haven’t already gotten the pack and the music in my first preview video was too loud, you can hear the tank soundfiles a lot better in Thunder’s video. That is, when guns aren’t being fired. In any case, the skin is up on FPSBanana.

Another good one makes your Tank into Heavy Weapons Guy from Team Fortress 2- no skin for this one yet, however

Lastly, Macho Man Randy Savage can be your tank.

Witch

In case the witch’s moaning was too creepy for you, there’s always this mod, that turns it into Chris Crocker’s wailing.

And a humorous T-shirt, if you like puns.

Smoker and Hunter

Sadly, the smoker and hunter are rather thin in this area. There’s a couple minor ones (new shirt for the smoker, hunter wearing a brand name hoodie) but mostly people like them how they are.

There’s one for the hunter, though, a rather silly Hello Kitty hoodie for him.

My personal setting: Hello Kitty hunter.

Boomer

In case you really hate your lunch, here’s one that might turn your stomach a bit.

Yes, that is a thong.

Moving SWIFTLY along, if you hate Christmas, here’s a great way to show it- a Santa boomer to shoot.

Normal zombies/all classes

Well, those wishing to mess up their hunters and smokers can rejoice, because the full packs do them a little more justice.

First is SupaGoGoMan’s everything pack, although you can of course only install the files you want. It includes Scout normal zombies, Heavy as the Tank, Yoshi as the Smoker, Sonic as the Hunter, Eggman as the Boomer, and some crazy anime girl as the witch.

Macho Man Randy Savage makes his return in the second one, which replaces zombie sounds.

The last one is sadly only functional in single player, but gets points for being crazy.

Skins can be quite hard to put into Left 4 Dead. In general, put the files into your common/left 4 dead/left 4 dead folder in whatever sub folder they’re in, and then open pak01_dir.vpk with Notepad++ and edit the directory address-hulk_01, hunter_01, etc. Some skins will come with their own code, in which case just put that in. If you need help with any of the skins listed here, post in the comments. Make sure to back up your pak01_dir file before editing.
