The lighter side of the Left 4 Dead zompocalypse

Left 1904 Dead

The kind and benevolent gentleman player know as “Jazz” directed my attention to this wondrous and entertaining piece of filmic history produced by himself through participation in the forums.

What if Left 4 Dead was set in the time of silent film?

Let’s find out!

To repeat what I said on the forums- a marvellous motion picture of great amusement and whimsy.

This could do well as a series- I’d like to see how they’d react to the Tank “Good Lord! A behemoth approaches! It would be wise to proceed out of this area in an orderly fashion while firing volleys at the brute!”

Also, this would fit some TF2 videos- “Continue to weep, infants!”

  2.

some of them are a little silly or odd, but over all it’s great. Also, “licking implement” is a hilarious phrase made of win.

  3.

The writer really had a hard time choosing what era they were writing in. Some of the words used were way older than 1904. Other than that, fun stuff.

@Zorgulon - We’re planning on making this into a series. We expect to have a new one up within 2 weeks, possibly earlier. (I’m listed in the credits as Ben Clarke, before any one asks why I’m talking like I helped)

    “I greatly dislike train stations.”

    Just fantastic.

    Great stuff :D

  8.

i laughed a lot during the video. some phrases that i never thought will be used actually came up

for some reason in some parts of the dialogue, i always imagined a british person talking with such deep accent…i thought this kind of style is the old american?

  9.

Mr. Noobinator: I believe the British part is more Jazz’s style than anything to do with silent movies.

This guy is awful at playing
he doesn’t even wait for everyone
and he takes all the health

  11.

Actually minimegacar, that would be because there was only myself and Jazz recording. The AI always lags behind. As for the health, I believe one medkit and some pain pills DO NOT constitute as “all the health”…

  12.

Also, do the comments have to be approved by an admin before going up? Cause I posted this yesterday and it kind of disappeared.

  13.

I took the health so I could make the joke

    It’s a movie. Not a REAL game

  14.

I should point out that half of this stuff was made for comedic effect. Shooting the car…the hunter….everything like that was staged. So if any idiots complain about ‘He can’t play the game’, then you obviously don’t know what a joke is…

  15.

Jazz: Can I complain? After all, I would have no idea what I’m talking about, being that I don’t yet own the game :D

“I am currently restocking my firearm with live ammunition”

    AWESOME!!!!!

    Some of them were Shakespearean.
