But what is all this?
The Rules
- The entries must all be in by January 15th, 2009. - The entry can not be drawn or remodeled. It must be made from a screen shot taken in Left 4 Dead or GMOD. - GMOD screen shots can not have characters from TF2, CSS, or any game besides L4D. - The minimum size for the wallpaper is 800 x 600. The maximum is 1000 x 800. - Any format besides .GIF- A SCREEN SHOT is not a WALLPAPER. Wallpapers must be modified and edited to count as an entry. Any HUD or text from the game must be edited out unless it contributes to the wallpaper.

This is the first post in a series of 3 posts cleverly entitled: The L4D Wallpaper Contest You will submit your entries in the comments. Then In the next post: The L4D Wallpaper Contest Voting I Will Post All the Entries, with credit to the owner. There will be a devised voting system in that post. More about that later. Followed by: The L4D Wallpaper Contest Results The winner is announced and has their full glory and cheers.

Use The Gimp (Free), or Photoshop (Not Free), or any cocamamy new age hip editor you use.*
*But really if you are going to use Paint don’t make it look like this…

By Default they would be:
L4D : C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Left4Dead/Left4Dead/Screenshots
GMOD : C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/*Your Steam Account Name*/Garrysmod/Garrysmod/Screenshots
